Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming Bollywood movie Kaabil, which is scheduled to release on January 25, has been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for certification and clearance.
Sources told that producer Rakesh Roshan, who is Hrithik Roshan’s father, submitted the movie to the board three weeks in advance. The film’s viewing was delayed due to many backlog of movies which were about to go through clearing.
CBFC offered no special treatment to Roshans whose film queuing up in line until its turn comes, added a source. Reportedly, the filmmakers of Kaabil also didn’t pressurize the board-members to view their movie on priority.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil features Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in major roles. Produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft Productions, the movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on 25 January 2017, along with its Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions.
