Scottish actor Ewan McGregor is all set to replace Charlie Hunnam, who is well remembered for his role in Sons of Anarchy, in his next project Zoe which is a romantic drama.

The story of Zoe is based on the lives of two colleagues who, at their revolutionary research laboratory, develop special technology to improve and perfect the romantic relationships in order to flourish their love lives.

The 36-year-old Hunnam failed to make it to the project due to scheduling conflicts as the movie directed by Drake Doremus will also be starring Lea Seydoux in leading character.

The film, which is written by The Beauty Inside’s Rich Greenberg and is being financed by Stuart Ford’s entertainment company IM Global, is slated to shoot in Montreal in April with Scott Free Productions’ Michael Pruss producing with Robert George and director Doremus.

Apart from this new venture, Ewan McGregor is about to be seen in his next two movies which are set to release on March 17. Out of the two films, first one is the remake of Beauty and the Beast and second one is T2 which is the sequel of Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting.

Along with these new projects, Ewan is all set to appear on the third season of FX’s famous TV series Fargo which will be aired in April.
