Newly released Tamil movie Enga Amma Rani reportedly collection a total income of Rs 75.70 crore. The multi-starrer emotional drama released on 5th May 2017. The celluloid hit on limited number of screens as SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion is having a good hold in most of the cinema halls across the south Indian states.
Commencing the box office journey on an average note, the film witnessed 40-50% occupancy on the opening day. Featuring superstar Dhansika in main lead, the movie reported steady occupancy on 2nd and 3rd day. As the second part of Bahubali : The Beginning film has divulged a major chunk of audiences, Enga Amma Rani couldn’t make a good business in Tamil speaking regions.
Directed by S. Bani, Enga Amma Rani reported drop in the audiences response at the end of first week. Produced by C. Muthukrishnan under the banners of MK Films, the family entertainer film got a good feedback from the movie-watchers and received positive reviews from the critics. Indiaglitz appreciated the movie by giving a rating of 2.8/5.
The emotional film has now entered into its second week. As the craze to watch Bahubali 2 hasn’t declined yet, the south Indian celluloid witnessed a usual declination in the theatre occupancy. Based on the story of a mother of two daughters, Enga Amma Rani is expected to cross 80 crore mark by the end of 2nd week. Latest box office figures are awaited.
