Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav is all set to kick off his party’s election campaign from Sultanpur on Tuesday. Confirming the same, SP Spokesperson Rajendra Choudhury said, “Akhileshji will address a rally in Sultanpur tomorrow.”
Mr Choudhury further said that Akhilesh would address another rally in Lakhimpur on January 25 and added that detailed information about the tour programmes of the CM would be announced very soon.
This campaign is going to be the Akhilesh Yadav’s first election rally in Uttar Pradesh after he was made the chief of the ruling party (Samajwadi Party), replacing his father Mulayam Singh Yadav who has been made the SP patron.
On Sunday, Akhilesh released the ‘please all’ party manifesto with focus on women as well as youth empowerment. Five constituencies in Sultanpur district will go to polls in the fifth phase on February 27.
