The famous airline AirAsia India on Wednesday announced the launch of its new services to Bagdogra and Srinagar from the national capital – Delhi, beginning in next month. The Bengaluru-based airline would also start a direct flight on Pune-Delhi route.

AirAsia India said in a release that the commencement of services at two new destinations as well as one new route is aimed at the improvement of regional connectivity and also increasing the airline’s footprint in the country. It further said that the new services would begin from February 19.

Besides the initiation of these new services, AirAsia India would now fly to 13 destinations through its hubs — New Delhi and Bengaluru — covering Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Imphal, Goa, Jaipur, Vizag, Kochi, Srinagar, Bagdogra and Pune.

AirAsia India chief executive officer – Amar Abrol said, “AirAsia India is consistently growing and is on a rapid business expansion mode. We ended 2016 on a highly positive note and are delighted to continue the same momentum in 2017 with the launch of two new sectors and an additional route.”

Apart from those new services, AirAsia India also announced special fares from as low as Rs. 1,999 for the New Delhi-Srinagar flights as well as Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 2,499 for Pune and Bagdogra flights from the national capital.
